With a background in education, Taylor’s path to the law was inspired by seeing the importance of effective legal representation for children with special needs. She believes everyone deserves someone in their corner ─ someone who actively listens, speaks with transparency and won’t give up until the right solution is found.
As an associate in the firm’s litigation practice, Taylor focuses on commercial, as well as labor and employment, claims and disputes. She brings extensive experience representing clients in state and federal courts, as well as in appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Supreme Court of Texas.
Before attending SMU Dedman School of Law, Taylor gained invaluable experience in public service and community leadership through Teach for America in the Greater New Orleans area. While there, she helped establish the special education department at a newly founded, high-performing charter school.
