Kent Love focuses his practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Bankruptcy. He has experience representing clients in both state and federal courts.
Kent’s experience includes cases involving contract disputes, shareholder disputes, trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duties, and construction litigation. In bankruptcy matters, Kent has represented both creditors and debtors. He has significant experience in litigation involving preferential and fraudulent transfers. Kent has also represented contractors and suppliers holding mechanic’s liens.
Kent graduated magna cum laude from SMU Dedman School of Law, where he received the Hutchison Scholarship. He was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as Articles Editor for the SMU Law Review. Kent received his Bachelor of Arts with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
