Scott Larson takes pride in accomplishing his clients’ business and legal objectives by putting them in the best position possible. Scott represents clients in multiple areas of commercial litigation.
He has extensive experience shepherding cases through complex discovery and pretrial disposition in state and federal court with the goal of efficiently maximizing a client’s position for settlement or trial.
He has experience representing creditors in promissory notes, guaranties, unpaid accounts, and lien claims. He regularly represents commercial landlords in tenant bankruptcies, helping his clients quickly move leased property out of the bankruptcy system.
Scott also maintains a regular docket representing clients in trademark and rights of publicity cases in federal court.
In tandem with the firm’s appellate section, he has briefed appellate matters before Texas appellate courts, the Texas Supreme Court, the Oklahoma Supreme Court, and the Fifth Circuit.
