Bell Nunnally Partner Kartik R. Singapura served as co-trial counsel in a verdict recently named to The Texas Lawbook’s “Top Commercial Litigation in 2022,” listing the ten “most significant” lawsuits of the year.

In the matter, Singapura helped secure a Harris County verdict clearing AMLI Residential of wrongdoing allegedly stemming from the 2012 sale of a luxury apartment complex in Houston. The purchaser and plaintiff sought $38 million in damages. The jury sided with AMLI, handing them a unanimous defense verdict and awarding nearly $6 million in attorneys’ fees against the plaintiff.
