Texas Business Courts – A New Era of Business Litigation in Texas

In 2023, the Texas Legislature created the state’s first-ever Business Courts, designed to provide some specialization to sophisticated business disputes hitting certain thresholds. These courts will become operational for new cases filed after Sept. 1, 2024. This topic will cover how these courts will operate, how will they affect your company, what to expect over the first few years, and how to plan to take advantage of these courts.
