Partners Saba Syed and Brent Turman were interviewed by the State Bar of Texas Podcast about the Astroworld tragedy that took place in November 2021. Syed and Turman are also giving a hybrid CLE presentation on this topic for the Dallas Bar Association.

Event Details:

Saba and Brent will examine the fatal crowd crush event at Astroworld in November 2021 and the ensuing multidistrict litigation from the defendants’ perspective by evaluating plausible defenses, procedural hurdles and the culpability of each party. They will also provide takeaway lessons on proper crowd control and management for the live events industry in a post-pandemic world.
