Bell Nunnally has added James A. Muela and Ira Catherine B. Perez as associates.
Muela joins Bell Nunnally’s commercial litigation group. Prior to joining Bell Nunnally, he served as an intern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Manske of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. Muela is a graduate of Baylor Law School (J.D., 2017) and Trinity University (B.A., 2012). While at Baylor Law, he served as Articles Editor for the Baylor Law Review and was a recipient of the “Harvey Richey Award” for oral advocacy.
Perez is a member of Bell Nunnally’s Corporate and Securities, Mergers and Acquisitions and Tax practice areas. She joined the firm after working on trust and estate administration, investment analysis and energy leases (including wind and oil and gas) at one of the largest Texas-based banks. Perez is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law (J.D., 2017) and the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., with High Honors, 2013). Also an accomplished musician, she has performed at numerous venues, including an NBA Playoff Game.
