Bell Nunnally Adds IP Attorney Gregory Perrone as Partner

Bell Nunnally has added intellectual property attorney Gregory Perrone as a partner. He comes to the firm from an IP boutique and previously practiced at two AmLaw 50 firms.

With nearly three decades of experience, Perrone has represented clients in a wide range of intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, IP litigation and strategic portfolio development. His practice focuses particularly on electrical and technology-related patents, where he combines legal insight with a technical background in electrical engineering to help clients protect and maximize the value of their innovations.

“Greg brings a rare combination of deep intellectual property experience and a strong technical foundation that allows him to deliver practical, high-value results for clients,” said Managing Partner Chris Trowbridge. “He has handled complex patent matters across industries and will immediately enhance our ability to support clients’ most important innovations and disputes. We’re excited to add a lawyer of Greg’s caliber as we continue to grow the firm strategically.”

Perrone’s addition enhances Bell Nunnally’s Best Lawyers’-recognized intellectual property practice, which serves clients across a broad range of industries, including technology, manufacturing and emerging growth companies.

“Bell Nunnally’s collaborative culture and strong reputation for client service made this an exciting opportunity,” Perrone said. “The firm’s cross-disciplinary work with many of the region’s and nation’s top companies was a strong lure and a real opportunity to expand my practice, as well as offer new capabilities to current clients.”

Recognized by his peers, Perrone was selected for inclusion in Texas Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list, featured in Texas Monthly magazine. He also co-authored the chapter “Effective Markman Presentations” in the 2006 book Winning Intellectual Property Strategies.

Perrone earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Kentucky College of Law (1997), where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. He received his B.A. from the University of Rhode Island (1988).
