Bell Nunnally has added two litigation associates: Jay D. Evans and Naomie Kweyu.
Evans focuses on commercial litigation and has experience in legal research, writing and advocacy across matters involving a range of industries. A graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law (J.D., summa cum laude, 2022), he served as editor in chief of the Texas Tech Law Review and competed in the 2021 National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Evans earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University (B.A., 2010).
Kweyu focuses on construction litigation, real estate disputes, transportation and logistics matters, and fiduciary litigation. Experienced in both the courtroom and the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) settings, she handles cases ranging from complex, multimillion-dollar disputes to matters involving small and midsized companies, including breach of contract claims, collection disputes and construction defects. A first-generation Congolese immigrant who speaks five languages, Kweyu is a graduate of Marquette University Law School (J.D., 2021) and the University of Dubuque (B.B.A., 2018), where she played on the basketball team and graduated in three years.
