Partners John Smart and Tammy Wood with Associate Katie Beaird recently defended Ingram Micro in federal court for the Eastern District of Texas against claims of discrimination under Texas Labor Code and retaliation under the federal Family and Medical Leave Act brought by a former employee. After a three-day in-person jury trial, the jury returned a unanimous take-nothing verdict in favor of the employer.
