Bell Nunnally Partner Alana K. Ackels has been elected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, one of the highest honors for a Texas lawyer. Fellowship in the Texas Bar Foundation is limited to only one-third of one percent of licensed Texas attorneys, making it a prestigious distinction. Fellows join a network of distinguished attorneys from diverse backgrounds and practices, united by their commitment to professional integrity and promoting justice in Texas.

The Texas Bar Foundation, established to build a stronger justice system for all Texans, actively supports programs that encourage legal education, legal aid and the rule of law. Fellows’ contributions are essential in funding these programs, with a pledge of $2,500 payable over ten years, after which Fellows become Life Fellows.
