Bell Nunnally Partner R. Heath Cheek has been appointed to the board of directors of the Cotton Bowl Foundation, the official foundation of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. The Foundation serves North Texas and beyond by supporting programs that improve opportunities for underserved youth, as well as initiatives benefiting communities connected to institutions that have competed in the Classic.

Since 2016, the Cotton Bowl Foundation has awarded more than $4 million in grants and financial support to nonprofit organizations, advancing educational initiatives and community impact efforts across the region.

Cheek also serves on the board of directors of the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association, which operates the annual Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. He previously served on the Cotton Bowl Council from 2015 to 2021.

Through his continued involvement, Cheek supports the Cotton Bowl’s longstanding mission to create meaningful opportunities for student-athletes and make a lasting impact in the North Texas community.
