Bell Nunnally Partner R. Heath Cheek has been appointed to the Texas Business Court Working Group, a collaborative initiative established by the Texas Business Law Foundation to evaluate and recommend improvements to the state’s newly established business court system.

Bell Nunnally is also a member of the Texas Business Law Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a favorable business climate in Texas through the development and maintenance of modern, effective business laws.

Since its founding in 1988, the Texas Business Law Foundation has served as a leading voice in shaping Texas business law by monitoring legislation, supporting meaningful legal reforms and providing guidance to legislative, judicial and executive leaders on matters affecting the state’s business community.

Through its advocacy efforts and engagement during every legislative session since 1989, the Foundation has worked to advance the quality of Texas business law and address emerging legal and business issues across the state.

In his appointment to the Working Group, Cheek will contribute to ongoing efforts to strengthen and refine the Texas Business Court system, helping ensure that Texas remains a premier jurisdiction for business and commercial disputes.
