Bell Nunnally Partner S. Roxanne Edwards and IP Paralegal Seth Haines have been appointed to the International Trademark Association (INTA) Publications Committee and Young Practitioners Committee, respectively, for the 2022-2023 term.
INTA is a global association of brand owners and professionals dedicated to supporting and promoting the value of trademarks, brands, and related intellectual property (IP) to foster consumer trust, economic growth, and innovation. INTA’s membership includes nearly 6,500 organizations from 185 countries. Its member organizations represent more than 34,350 professionals and include brand owners from major corporations, as well as small- and medium-sized enterprises, law firms, and nonprofits.
The Publications Committee identifies, evaluates, and develops concepts and proposals for members-only legal resources. It produces and maintains most of the members-only legal resources, including Fact Sheets, INTA Practice Guides, and other industry and topic papers.
The Young Practitioners Committee develops services and programs specifically designed for young practitioners working in trademark and intellectual property law. Its work includes content development, identification of speakers and moderators, and program implementation.
Edwards has served on various INTA committees for nearly 15 years. This is Haines’ first appointment to an INTA committee.
