Senior Associate Joshua T. Smith represented Plano, Texas-based insurer Boyd, Shackelford, Barnett & Dixon LLC (BSBD Insurance) in its recent acquisition of Garland, Texas-based insurer Baker & Affiliates Insurance Agency, Inc. BSBD Insurance was founded in 2006 and offers a range of insurance offerings ranging from general liability, umbrella, builder’s risk to auto, home and life. Baker & Affiliates was founded in 2007 and specializes in condominium and townhome association insurance as well as various other types of commercial and personal lines policies.
