Bell Nunnally partners Dania Duncan Moreno and Nikki Hurst Gibson and Foreign Legal Consultant Daniela Martinez recently represented lender Seattle-based Washington Federal Bank in a $43.5M cross-border financing package for passenger buses operating in Texas and Mexico by borrowers Tornado Bus Company  and Conexiones Tornado. The mixed purpose transaction for Dallas-based Tornado Bus Company included refinancing and acquisition of new buses used to transport passengers to destinations in Mexico from Texas. The combined transaction closed in mid-November. The loans to Tornado Bus Company and Conexiones Tornado were the first cross border financing initiated by WaFed.
