Bell Nunnally Partner Allison L. Elko has been recognized as one of seven honorees in the “Deal Maker of the Year” category for Bisnow‘s 2026 “DFW Women Leading Real Estate Awards.”
The awards program recognizes women whose leadership, vision and dedication are helping shape the future of commercial real estate across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Honorees represent a broad cross-section of the industry, including development, investment, brokerage, property management, design, construction and operations.
Elko assists developers, investors, buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in all aspects of real estate transactions. Her practice includes office, retail and industrial leasing, as well as development finance matters. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience, she advises clients with a practical and efficient approach focused on achieving business objectives and managing legal costs. In addition to private practice, Elko previously served as Vice President and General Counsel for Hexter-Fair Title Company and as Senior Counsel for Windstream Corporation.
Highlighted in her nomination, in the first four months of 2026 alone, Elko closed more than $130 million in transactions across Texas, including projects involving health care, residential, build-to-rent, retail and corporate development. Her recent work includes advising on the sale of land for a mixed-use development near Austin, helping transform property into spaces where people live, work and connect.
