Bell Nunnally Partner R. Heath Cheek has been appointed as secretary of The Real Estate Council (TREC) board of directors.

TREC is a Dallas-based trade organization comprised of more than 2,000 individuals from 625 companies, comprising 95 percent of the commercial real estate business in North Texas. Its members include developers, builders, brokers, attorneys, architects, investment bankers, accountants, finance and title professionals. TREC offers networking and educational programs aimed at leadership development and continuing education.

TREC’s board of directors provides the expertise and leadership that support the growth of TREC, the Dallas real estate industry and the development of the area’s most underserved communities.
