Bell Nunnally Partner Jean Pierre Boyea is featured in the 2019 edition of “The Dallas 500,” a special publication from D Magazine Partners (publishers of D Magazine and D CEO), in the category of Law – Real Estate. Boyea is one of only six individuals selected for this category, part of a larger roundup featuring 500 area business leaders from across more than 60 industries and business categories in North Texas. Boyea has been named to The Dallas 500 each year since 2016.

Boyea is the Chair of the Transactional Section at Bell Nunnally. He maintains a broad commercial real estate practice, and assists clients – including landlords, tenants, developers, lenders and investment entities – with a range of transactional matters from the sale and acquisition of properties to development and refinancing, with a special emphasis on retail leasing and day-to-day landlord/tenant issues. Boyea also has extensive experience with retail and office tenant representation, as well as mechanic’s liens, easements, foreclosures, workouts, property owners’ associations and mortgage fraud cases.

Active in the community, Boyea is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Law and Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs (J.D., 1994; M.P.A., 1994) and Rice University (B.S., M.E. 1986). In addition to his listing on The Dallas 500, Boyea in 2018 was named to the “Best Lawyers in Dallas” list by D Magazine.
