Sixth Year of Firm’s Involvement in Leadership Cohorts
Bell Nunnally Partner Saba F. Syed has been selected to the 2023 “Fellows Program” class for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) – an organization comprised of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners dedicated to building a more open and diverse legal profession. In addition, Bell Nunnally Associate Hannah C. Shoss was selected to the LCLD’s 2023 “Pathfinder Program.”

Syed is a skilled litigator who routinely represents companies and high-net-worth individuals in complex commercial litigation involving securities, business torts, patents and trademarks, partnership disputes and real estate. She has worked across a range of industries from energy and manufacturing to real estate and finance. Saba also works with clients in the live events and hospitality industries, providing industry-specific legal counsel. Notable representative engagements include obtaining a $3.5 million settlement in FINRA arbitration on behalf of a client investor who was defrauded in a Ponzi scheme and securing the dismissal of a $27 million premises liability dispute on behalf of Dallas-area nightclub investors, including a retired professional athlete. Syed is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2013) and the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., magna cum laude, 2009).
Shoss helps businesses in a wide range of industries, including real estate, health care, wholesale, retail, services, insurance, nonprofits and education. A member of the firm’s transactional team, she focuses on corporate and securities, mergers and acquisitions and real estate matters. Shoss joined Bell Nunnally in 2022. Her prior experience includes managing a medical practice, where she developed valuable insights into the health care industry and the particular needs of closely held companies while handling matters dealing with corporate governance and structure, strategic planning, business succession, asset protection and practice expansion. She is a graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 2017) and Baylor University (B.A., 2005).
