Bell Nunnally Managing Partner Christopher B. Trowbridge has been named to the 2026 edition of the Dallas 500, D Magazine Partners’ annual list recognizing the 500 most powerful business leaders in Dallas–Fort Worth. The print issue hits newsstands November 20 and will also be available on D CEO’s website.
Curated by the editors of D CEO after months of research and hundreds of interviews, the Dallas 500 profiles the well-known, the rising and the behind-the-scenes leaders driving the region’s economy. As Editor Christine Perez noted in announcing this year’s list, inclusion signals that an executive is “among the most significant and influential business leaders in North Texas.” Trowbridge appears in the “Law – Managing Partners” category.
In addition to leading Bell Nunnally, Trowbridge is the immediate past chairman of Legalink, a global network of more than 68 independent law firms. Now in his 25th year with the firm, he represents clients in high-stakes commercial disputes in Texas, across the United States and internationally. He regularly appears before federal and state courts and in major arbitration forums, including FINRA, the AAA, JAMS and the London Court of International Arbitration. His matters have garnered national media attention, including recognition on Texas Lawyer’s “Hall of Fame Verdicts List” and its annual “Top Verdicts & Settlements.”
Trowbridge has been named to the Dallas 500 for six consecutive years. He is recognized as a “Litigation Star” by Benchmark Litigation, ranked in Chambers USA for “Litigation: General Commercial” in Texas and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2017. Since 2023, he has also been featured in Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Litigators in America,” and in 2025, he appeared on its “100 Managing Partners You Need to Know” and “500 Leading Global Litigators” lists. He has been named a “Texas Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters every year since 2013 and frequently appears on its “Top 100” lists for both Texas and D/FW.
Beyond his legal practice, Trowbridge serves as chairman of the board of the Thanks-Giving Foundation, which oversees Thanks-Giving Square in Downtown Dallas. He is a former board chairman of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, where he recently co-chaired its 60th anniversary celebration. He earned his J.D. (’98) and B.B.A. (’95) from Baylor University.
