The Dallas Court of Appeals recently affirmed a judgment in favor of firm client RRAC Development GP, LLC in a dispute over the transfer of an interest in a limited partnership. RRAC was represented by Bell Nunnally partners Mikel J. Bowers and Beverly A. Whitley and associate Scott R. Larson. After a non-jury trial, the 192nd Civil District Court rendered a judgment requiring MetroMarke Multifamily Development Fund I, L.P. to convey a limited partnership interest to RRAC, pay $2.7M in delay damages, and pay RRAC attorney’s fees for the appeal.
