This executive order directs the United States ambassador to the United Nations to submit a formal written notification of the United States’ withdrawal from the Paris Agreement Under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. It also ceases any “purported” financial commitment made by the United States under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and revokes and rescinds the U.S. International Climate Finance Plan.
