The purpose of this executive order is to combat antisemitism in schools, universities and colleges. The head of each executive department or agency is directed to submit a report to the president identifying all civil and criminal authorities or actions within the jurisdiction of the agency that might be used to combat antisemitism. The attorney general is encouraged to employ civil rights authorities to combat antisemitism, including the use of federal criminal law provisions prohibiting the intimidation or injury of a person in the free exercise of a right or privilege secured by the Constitution or the laws of the United States. Additionally, the secretary of state, secretary of education and secretary of homeland security are directed to include in their reports recommendations for familiarizing institutions of higher education with the grounds for inadmissibility to the United States related to terrorism so that those institutions may monitor and report on activities by alien students and staff and for ensuring that such reports lead to investigations and, where warranted, actions to remove such aliens from the country.
