Executive Order 14256: Further Amendment to Duties Addressing the Synthetic Opioid Supply Chain in the People’s Republic of China as Applied to Low Value Imports

This executive order addresses illicit substances (opioids) being concealed and sent to the United States from the People’s Republic of China. It imposes specified duties on goods valued at or under $800 that would otherwise qualify for duty free treatment; and it also imposes bond requirements for carriers transporting the low value goods.
