Due to ongoing trade negotiations with China, this Executive Order either suspends or adjusts certain tariff rates on goods imported from the People’s Republic of China (PRC). It suspends ad valorem duties imposed upon the PRC listed in Annex I to executive order 14257 as amended by Executive Orders 14259 and 14266 for 90 days, and modifies the ad valorem rate of duties imposed upon items imported from the PRC in Executive Order 14257 to a rate of 10%. It lowers tariffs on specific items set forth in Executive Order 14257 from 125% to 34% and lowers the ad valorem rate of duty on de minimis (low value) goods imposed in Executive Order 14256, as modified by Executive Orders 14259 and 14266, from 120% to 54%.
