This executive order directs the secretary of commerce to: (a) establish the American AI Exports Program to support the development and deployment of the U.S. full-stack AI export packages; and (b) issue a public call for proposals from industry-led consortia for the packages. The proposals selected by the secretary of commerce will be designated as priority AI export packages and supported through priority access to federal financing tools and other government support, including the promotion of the export of American AI technologies, participation in multilateral initiatives and country-specific partnerships for AI development and supporting partner countries in fostering pro-innovation regulatory, data and infrastructure environments conducive to the deployment of American AI systems.
