This executive order modifies the reciprocal tariff rates set forth in Executive Order 14257 for specified countries that have a trade deficit with the United States. The order increases tariffs for 68 countries identified in Annex I of the executive order because those countries have not reached acceptable trading terms with the United States. The modified rates went into effect on Aug. 7, 2025.
