The presentation walked through the lens of a “case study” from the hit HBO Show, “Silicon Valley,” and interplayed the challenges the characters face with the real challenges and potential real life pitfalls facing organizations. The presentation addressed how to protect trade secrets, confidential information and other valuable intellectual property, as well as look at restrictive covenants and their effectiveness and limitations to their enforceability.
