Her advocacy approach centers on standing in the gap between complexity and clarity so clients can make informed decisions.
With experience spanning federal courts, employment law and patent matters, Mackenzie Mattingly serves as an associate in Bell Nunnally’s Litigation practice, where she focuses on complex commercial disputes.
Before joining the firm, Mackenzie completed a federal clerkship in the Northern District of Texas where she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Terry R. Means, Honorable Reed O’Connor and Honorable James Wesley Hendrix. Prior to practicing, Mackenzie completed judicial internships with the Honorable Amos L. Mazzant III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and the Honorable Terry R. Means of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Mackenzie also gained experience with employment law matters as a legal intern with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and previously analyzed potential patent infringement matters as a patent analyst intern.
