This session explored how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) intersect when employees seek accommodations or time away from work. Attendees learned practical strategies for evaluating requests, navigating compliance obligations and minimizing legal risk while supporting employee well-being.

Ethics Lessons from the Hit TV Series Suits
The popular legal drama Suits offers plenty of entertainment — and plenty of questionable ethical decisions. This session used memorable scenes from the show to explore real-world professional responsibility issues facing attorneys, including conflicts of interest, confidentiality, client communications and the boundaries of zealous advocacy. Attendees gained practical insights into ethical decision-making while revisiting some of the show’s most iconic moments.
