Bell Nunnally has added Andre D. Johnson as an associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment and Litigation practices.

Johnson represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour claims, discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wrongful termination disputes. He also advises clients on employment-related risk management, personnel issues, workplace policies and litigation strategy, and he conducts workplace investigations involving allegations of hostile work environment, retaliation, discrimination and employee misconduct. An experienced litigator, Johnson has represented clients in state and federal court across a range of industries, drafting successful summary judgment arguments, negotiating favorable settlements and handling significant aspects of cases from discovery through mediation and trial.

Prior to joining the firm, Johnson earned his J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and his B.A. in government from The University of Texas at Austin. Notably, he was named to The Best Lawyers in America®: Ones to Watch list for 2026 and the National Black Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” list in 2022.
