Bell Nunnally has elected Nikki Hurst Gibson as its newest partner; she was previously senior counsel.
Gibson is a member of the firm’s Commercial Finance and Real Estate practices. She has extensive experience representing financial institutions and borrowers on commercial lending transactions; structuring, drafting and negotiating loan documentation for asset-based financing transactions, including accounts receivable, inventory and equipment secured loan transactions; senior and subordinated debt financings; syndicated loans; securities as collateral; and real estate transactions.
“Nikki is an essential member of our team. She brings significant insight to our clients’ business matters and embodies our collegial, client-first culture,” said Christopher Trowbridge, Bell Nunnally managing partner.
Gibson regularly represents financial institutions and real estate developers. Her financial institution and borrower clients include real estate investment trusts, development companies, commercial banks and other financial institutions, insurers, entrepreneurs and leasing companies.
In 2019, Gibson received the Paul Quinn College’s “President’s Award.” The award was given in recognition of Gibson’s work with the school through her board membership with Duke North Texas and its collaboration with Paul Quinn College to design and implement a mentoring program matching more than 20 current students with accomplished Duke alums.
Gibson is a graduate of Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law (J.D., 1985) and Duke University (A.B., 1980).
