R. Kent Love has joined Bell Nunnally as an associate and member of its Litigation and Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring practice areas. As a commercial litigator, Love regularly represents clients in matters involving contracts, shareholder disputes, trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty and construction litigation. In bankruptcy matters, he represents both creditors and debtors and has significant experience in litigation involving preferential and fraudulent transfers. Love also regularly represents contractors and suppliers holding mechanic’s liens.
Love graduated magna cum laude from SMU’s Dedman School of Law (J.D., 2016), where he was Order of the Coif, Articles Editor for the SMU Law Review, and a Hutchinson Scholarship Recipient. He earned his undergraduate degree, with High Honors, from the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., 2013).
