Bell Nunnally attorney Saba F. Syed presented the well-received “Speaking and Listening Across Gender Lines” at the Asian Pacific Interest Section (APIS) of the State Bar of Texas annual conference on April 27 in Austin, Tex. The program covered speaking and listening trends with respect to gender, pointing to recent studies and research. It highlighted common pitfalls in communicating across genders and offered solutions for moving past language barriers.

Attendees received 0.5 hours of CLE ethics credit. According to the organizers, the subject resonated with conference attendees and sparked dialogue.
