Knowing she wanted to be a lawyer from a young age, Daniela loves helping clients materialize their ideas and protect their interests. She approaches her work with dedication and an attention to detail, never taking for granted the trust that clients place in her and the firm.
Daniela is registered by the State Bar of California as a Foreign Legal Consultant. She is licensed to practice in Mexico. She focuses on cross-border corporate and real estate transactions. Her knowledge and expertise on Mexican law, as well as her strong eye for detail, play an important role on any cross-border transaction.
Daniela helps clients with corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, purchase and sale agreements, leases, incorporation of trusts and real estate due diligence.
Previously practicing at a private law firm in Mexico, upon moving to the United States, Daniela worked in the Economics Department of the Consulate General of Mexico in New York. While there, she served as part of the team that negotiated, designed and launched the First Financial Counseling Desk, a program developed in collaboration with the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs and various nonprofit organizations aimed at economically empowering the Mexican population in the region. As a testament to the success of the approach, many other Mexican consulates in the U.S. replicated this program.
