David is an experienced litigator with a demonstrated history of working in high-dollar, high-stakes matters across the United States and internationally. David’s extensive trial experience litigating disputes in state, federal and appellate courts includes multiple solo and first-chair bench trials and arbitrations, representing clients in Texas and across the United States, as well as guiding domestic clients through legal matters in Canada, Mexico and Nigeria.
Bringing significant experience with dispositive motions on both sides of the aisle, David has both successfully recovered many 100 percent judgments for plaintiff clients and obtained full dismissals for defendant clients. He handles cases covering a broad spectrum of legal issues, in areas including contracts, sports and entertainment, employer nonsubscriber defense, FINRA, U.C.M.J. (military law), high-stakes business disputes, construction defects, noncompetes, “company divorces” and family law. Frequently, David has achieved success through mediation, resulting in cost-effective outcomes for his clients.
White Collar and Regulatory Investigations
David also represents targets of white-collar crime disputes, including those involving healthcare and regulatory investigations. Often operating in highly regulated industries, his clients have included crypto currency issuers, oil and gas brokers and operators, police officers, physicians, hospitals, compounding pharmacies, medical organizations, and medical suppliers. Through this work, David handles matters investigated and prosecuted by, among others, Department of Justice, F.B.I., S.E.C., state regulation/boards, Medicare Fraud Strike Force, Department of Defense, and the Health and Human Services – Office of Inspector.
Collections and Creditors’ Rights
David brings specific experience with the collection of judgments and the enforcement of creditors’ rights through trials, garnishments, receiverships, charging orders and other post-judgment collection proceedings aimed at increasing the collectible value of judgments. David has successfully asserted judgment holder and creditor’s claims across the United States, resulting in full recovery of the debt owed.

A frequent author and speaker, David continually publishes articles exploring various federal and state legal topics and has contributed, explained and provided timely legal analysis to CBS Radio on topics in the news including the Jesse Ventura v. Chris Kyle defamation lawsuit.
Beginning his legal career working in-house for an entertainment arena and professional sports team, David has negotiated and drafted artist and sponsorship contracts, managed litigation issues, and provided management and ownership with strategically driven risk assessments and solutions for in-house counsel departments.
