Growing up in a family of lawyers, Ned saw how the law serves as a powerful problem-solving tool. This upbringing in combination with his military background and commitment to service naturally led him to the profession. Clients can expect thorough preparation, thoughtful strategy and a collaborative approach that delivers practical solutions and meaningful results.
Colleagues describe Edward “Ned” Wilkinson as disciplined, collaborative and pragmatic — qualities honed through his service in the U.S. Army and refined during his work on the Catholic University Law Review and in federal courts. Now an associate in the firm’s litigation practice, he previously clerked for U.S. Magistrate Judge Hal R. Ray Jr. in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. During his clerkship, Ned gained experience by drafting pretrial orders and findings, conclusions and recommendations on a range of civil matters, including employment disputes, constitutional claims, torts, contract issues and Social Security appeals.
During law school, Ned gained experience in land use and zoning law with a Virginia-based law firm, and he developed his litigation skillset as a clerk for the Federal Aviation Administration.
Prior to law school, Ned served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, worked as an Operations Manager with Amazon, and interned for the United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the United States House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
